Mr O'Bryan wa* eariy married to

one child survives, Mr*. R. F. Hug
gln*. who has been his mainstay
since the death of Mrs, O'Rryan
which occurred In December, 1901.
Tin funeral services wer • held at
the Walierboro llapilst church, Rev.
F. O. H. Curtis feelingly conducted
the services after which the remains
were taken to Live Oak cemetery
for Interment.
Mrs. Dempsey Stanley died sud
denly Wednesday aflernoon, July 29,
and was burled the following day at
Ml. Olive church, Hampton county.
Mrs Stanley was a daughter of the
late Mr Tulllns Renton, and Is sur
vived by her husband and several
small children.

BOSTON, Mass.—The great featura
today of the Knights of Pythias con
vention now in session here was the
great parade this aflernoon of the uni
formed rank in which over ten thou
sand members of the military branch
of the order took part. Major Ar
thur J. Stodd.ircit, of Minnesota, com
mander in chief of the uniformed
rank, commanded the parade. Com
panies mil regiments of knights from
every state in the Union took pave
in the paiade. The day was remark
ably cool and pleasant and the pa
rade was without the usual prostra
tions that occur in August parades
and conventions.
