In recorder’s court this morning
the first case called was that of Pe

boys, charged with throwing rocks
on the street. They were dismissed
with a reprimand and warding.
Sfoy Lamar, a young white boy
charged with stealing a ring, watch,
bracelet and other jewelry, was or
dered to pay a fine of SIOO or serve
three years in the county reform
atory.
Albert Luger pleaded guilty to a
plain druns and was fined $2.50. D.
C. Kohn's punishment for a similar
offense was the same.
Kent Garrett, colored, said to be a 1
notorious bully In darktown. fajeed
the recorder for fighting. Three or
four witnesses testified that he in
sulted a negro's wife while the latter
sat on her front veranda, and that
when the irate husband rushed out
to seek satisfaction Kent collared
him and pressed a razor to his throat.
But for the timely interference of two
bystanders the negro’B jugular would
probably have been severed, said one
witness, who claimed that Kent told
him afterwards he would have killed
the husband.
Prosecution of the case was con

E G. Kitlbfleiseh represented iho do
* fendant. He made no argument,
merely requesting that the case,
j which had turned out to he tbnt of
assault with intent to murder, be left
for a higher court to handle
Garrett was fined SIOO or 90 days.
Immediately after the disposition of
the first case Garrett was arraigned
on a charge of violating, the lC0;h
section, more than three weeks ago.

Her" Is where Kodol benefits you.
it not only digests the food you have eaten,
hut tones up and puts the stomach back to a
healthy and normal condition.
As long as part of the food remains undi
gested. the stomach is not at rest. All food
must bo digested. Only part means that the
stomach must go on working at an Impossible
task.
Some things are a partial help and do part of
the work. But that la not enough. The part they
do Is not the most essential part. Just what
they fall to accomplish Is what is most required
hy the bqdy. Part way will not do. “Part way”
will never take you to a Journey s end. All or
none should tie the demand.
That is why Kodol is so successful.
It digests all food as quickly as a healthy
stomach will do It.
If It falls It costs you nothing.
