Kodol
For Dyspepsia and Indigestion.
. If you suffer from Indigestion or Dyspepsia;
if you are annoyed with gas on the stomach,
fulness after eating, belching, sour stomach,
heartburn, etc.,
Go to your druggist, get a dollar hottleof Kodol,
and if you can honestly say that you did not
receive any benefit from it after’using the entire
bottle, the druggist will refund your money to
you without question or delay and we will pay
the druggist, tne price of the first bottle pur
chased by you.
If you knew as well as we do how good a prep
aration Kodol is it would be unnecessary for us
to guarantee a single bottle.
But to get you to know how good It Is as well
as we know, we practically will purchase the
first bottle for you.
you wonder, perhaps, how we can afford to
make such an offer.
It is because we have absolute, confidence In the
honesty and fairness of the public.
We know there are thousands of persons who
suffer from indigestion and dyspepsia who would
be grateful to us for putting them in touch
with Kodol.
That is why.
Furthermore, we know that after you have
used Kodol your faith in the preparation will be
equal to ours.
Tit is proposition we make is not altogether
unselfish, but it Is actuated by the knowledge
That the use of Kodol by you will benefit you
as well as ourselves.
How could we afford to make *uch an offer
Keeper of Bell Tree Blind Tiger • ,
Slain by Man Intended as Victim
BORDEN SPRINGS, Ala.—William
Smith, proprietor of the notorious
Bell Tree” blind tiger, and all
around desperado and bully, was shot
and killed Sunday afternoon by Will
Chandler.
•
Chandler gave himself up to thj
Cleburne county officers, and was
taken to jail at Heflin.
Smith and Will Chandler engaged
in an altercation and the desperado
got the drop on Chandler, forcing the
latter to go on his knees, to say his
prayers, saying gs soon as they were
completed he would shoot him dead.
There were many bystanders, but

to the public, and how could we afford to spend
thousands of dollars to tell you about It unless w«
positively knew and were sure of the merits of
Kodol.
We couldn’t—Et would bankrupt us.
But we know the merits of Kodol and we want
you to know.
A perfect digester must contain many ingred
ients, each in proper proportion.
It must be a liquid, because all those ingred
ients cannot be put Into dry form.
It must be able to digest any food, or in
mixture of foods, and completely. *
Kodol does that, even in a glass test tuba.
No other digester can.
Kodol alone does all of the work. It stops all
irritation, and gives the stomach complete rest.
It has taken us years t get a perfect digester,
but we certainly have it now.
Please try It today at our risk.
It means more than relief. It means that the
stomach will do its own work far sooner than
you’ll expect.
Kodol digests all the food you eat.
Eat what you need and-iet Kodol digest It.
Kodol Is made at the laboratories of XL 0.

none had ti e hardihood to interfere
with Smith's amusement, until Dave
Chandler, a brother of the Intended
victim, came up and struck Smith
in the back of the head with a stone.
This stunned Smith, and before ua
could recover Will Chandler arose
from his knees, whipped out his own
pistol and snot the desperado dead.
The shooting was witnessed by a
number of visitors at the Springs
hotel.
it is said that Smith had accumu
