SCHOOL BOOKS.
The subscriber having been appointee
agent for the disposal of Mr. Picket’s
SCHOOL BOOKS, oQers to the public
the following:
1. The Juvenile or Universal Frinu
2. The Juvenile Spelling Book
3. 'Hie Juvenile Instructor
4. The Juvenile Expositor
5. Picket’s Table Buok, for acquir
inga knowledge of arithmetic
6. Copy Books, from No. 1 to 4
** Geographical Grammar, with maps
The above Books are used entirely
(and none else) in the most respectable
seminaries in the states of New-York,
New-Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Ohio.
As a sufficient evidence of the repute of
Mr. Picket’s mode of teaching, we neeu
only refer to the numerous impressions
annually emitted. In the course of four
months, two editions of the Juvenile
Spelling Book of 4,000 copies each, have
been printed, and all the others in the
same proportion. When we consider
the expense that the publisher has been
at in getting these School Books stereo
typed, it is presumed that teaches in the
southern states will give them That en
couragement which their merit demands.
