UPON the petition of Jinn: s C. S’rfnona,'
stating that he was possessed of a
bond given by Robert T. Alffn, of the.
countv of Columbia and state of Georgia,
to him the said James 1' Simons, of Meck
linburgh county. In the state of North-
Carolirra, in the penal sum of sixteen hun
dred dollars, bearing dale the 28th day
of May, 1816, with a condition thereunto
written, that if the said Robert T Allen
should well and truly make to the said
James T Simons, his heirs and assigns; 1
good and .sufficient warranty titles to a
tract of land situate,, lying and being on
Golden creek, in Jasper county,' contain
ing wo hundred two and an half acres,
being number 137 in die 13th district
when as soon as the said Jaffies IV
Simons should,have paid to the skid Ro
bert T. Alien the sum of one hundred dol
lars, the balance of the consideration mo
ney, a copy of which bond was annexed i < (
the petition of the said James T Simons
and stating that, the said bond has been
lost, and praying, that a copy may be es
tablished in lieu of the original—it is
therefore ordered that the said copy be
established in, lieu of the original at the
next term of this court, unless cause b;j
shewn to the contrary;—And it is further
Ordered, that this rule be published id
one of the public gazettes, once a month
until the next term ot this court.
