A Distressing Case.
4 YOUNG Man, named John Thompson,
£3l who left England in the year 1821, and
wrote to his friends in the year 11)22, from
Charleston, S. C. since which time neither his
friends or wife, who is in a most miserable slate
of mind, have had any tidings of him whatever.
It is sincerely hoped, should this meet hisat
tention, or that of any person who may know
where the sii-1 John Thompson is, that they
will immediately write to his unhappy wife,'so
as to relieve her distressed state of mind, and
that of her children and friends; by doing which
they will have the prayers of the family for
their kindness.
Any editor who will give publicity to the
above, w’ill confer a lasting obligation on the
wifi and family of the said John Thompson.
