_ Gentlemen —In answer to your requeit, for

neighborhood during the presen’ year, end also
ofthe deaths both while and blafk, as wtli as
their ages and diseases,” we will remark, that
... up o the Ist of Ju'y, or thereabout there -aa
j generally lete sickness than usual, both in town
and country, r ud the deaths too lew to excite
attention. During July and August there was
sore sickness, than usual in these months, in
at -ome sections us the county, and more deaths,
ly though we are not aware that our neighbor
‘l hood was more afflicted than others in the ad
u joining counties. At this time (and for the
last two o* 1 three weeks) (he number of cases
of fever is inconsiderable, ami the season more
healthy than usual. The subjoined bill ol mor-
lality (wbuh we believe to be in the main cor

and lime of death of those who fill ‘victim* lo
fevers in town, and there Is aho added a list
of b >sc who die Jof other diseases. lu answer
to the last question “ what was the state of

we say that we know not of the existence of
any case of fever at that tiin-j in the town; a
