Morning Dress. —A dreig of lavender coloured gros de Naplei, with a very broad hem round the binder, the bead ulightlji vandyked, and furnithed by chain work of silk cordon. The body is covered with a caneaou spencer of embroidered tulle, w ith strip -s formed of pink satin rouleaux, and the waist encircled by a pink ribbon belt, striped with black in hair stripes, over the sleeves, which are a I’itnbecille, and of the same colour and material us the dress, are frills of very broad white lace, and on each shoulder is also a bow of ribbon with lung ends, the same ns the belt. Very broad bracelets of gold en circle the wrists, surmounted by a full ruf tla of lace, ascending towards the narrow part of the arm- A ruff surrounds the throat, formed of lace and pink satin; and a hat of pink satin is worn with this dress, very tnnch ornamented under the brim with pink satin ribbon and blond, and a full branch of white privet, without foliage over the r ight temple. A compact bou quet of flowers is placed in front of the crown; and broad strings of pink satin rib* bon, clouded with black, float loose. Halfi 1 boots of gros de Naples, the colour of (he \ dress, fringed round the top, and Wood stock gloves, complete this costume. A Riding Dress.—X habit of bright emerald green; tbe body ornamented with rows of small black buttons, set very close together. The sleeves ate full at the top, but sit almost tight to the narrower part of the arm* The collar is like that on a I man’s coat, and is of black velvet; over (hat of the chemisette is worn a black sat in stock, surrounding which, next the face, is a narrow full frill °f cambric lace, or fine clear lawn. The hat is of black beaver, with a light green veil. The ball beets are of black kid, and over them arc pantaloons, exactly like those worn bv y gentlemen, and fastening under tbe foj like theirs, by a strap. The gloves are f doeskin. ' } Walking Dress. —A high dress of cher ry-coloured gros de Naples, with a very » brood hem round the border of the skirt, finished at the head by vandyked points, ij edged by black silk passementerie. The body is surmounted at the throat by a triple ruffof fine lace. Harvest b. bouquets, consisting of ears of ripe corn. scarlet field-poppies, and a few white wild : loses, form tbe ornaments on the bat, tbe strings of which are of tbe same kmc of ribbon at that sewn on the puffs of {ros des Indes; they float loose, and are /ery - long. Morocco leather half boots, the col. " our of the dress, complete the costume, t with kid gloves of pearl-grey. 5 GENTLEMEN’S FASHIONS ol Riding or Promenade Dress —The coat is of bronze green Spanish cloth; the collar is made vety full, the ends of which are quite square, and formed with small lappels, just half the size of the collar, which roll together at the waist; a very small plain gilt button, set sufficiently from the edge of (he coat, that, notwithstanding the breast of tbe coat folds a good deal back, every button must be seen; the pock ets are under the flaps of the hips, and have (wo gilt buttons to button them up occasionally; the sleeves are quite plain at top, and without wadding, but the cuffs fit close to the wrist, and button with two smaller gilt buttons; the skirls are lined with the same cloth. The waistcoat ia ol buff cachemere of a shawl pattern, the fi gures of which are interwoven with silk; it is made quite short ia front, and so full in the collar, that when it is turned back, the breast and eollar are in a straight line- Dove-colaurecl cassimere trousers; they are made to fit the leg and thigh easily, but are light at tba hips; a pair of gaiters of the game stuff, out square at (he toes, and fastening under (he shoe with (wo polished steel buckles, complete the dress.
