disputes on the public ; but as a duty to my
fclf and friends I feel myfelf bound to make

Henry P. Hampton and myfelf cn the race
ground on Satmday lift.—On Sunday Morn
ing I understood that it had been said I was

Hampton and myfelf, which I construed I

Our friends made and agreed to the fol
lowing arrangements.
The parties viz. Thomas Spencer and
Henry P. Hampton are t? meet tomorrow
morning at 13 o'clock A. M. the fecoads

parties cocked, it (ball be optional with the
parties to hold their pistols perpendicular or
with the muzles to the ground as they may
think proper, being placed at their (lands,
