T HE Commissioners of the Navy are
" willing to contract for, and will pay
the current market price, for sail-cloth
manufactured in the United States, of a
quality equal to the best Russian or Kn
g'.i** cenv«s. The cloth must be fabn
oated of hemp grown in the United
States, and must

2. Must contain the came number of
threads that, Russian or English can
vas, of the same number and width,

3. Must, weigh as much per square yard

4, A strip of an inch wide and six feet
long, must be of sufficient strength to

If thb terms of any of the proposers
