VV AS stolen from the tongue of a wa gon, in or near Augusta, on Saturday night the 13th inst. A Likely Red Sorrel Horse, about five feet high, ten or eleven yeahl old, his hind legs white rather more than halfway up to the hook; his right fore foot and paster joint white; his face white —the white in his face extends from be tween his eyes dovm over his nose, mouth* and a part of his under lip; his mane and tail is near the color of his body. He is a well proportioned, heavy bodied horses his neck is tolerably long, and well shap ed ; he has a good head well joined to hi# neck; he is in fine order for service, is a natural trotter, but may be made to rack tolerably well—he is a Hue gig horse, but does npt draw kindly by the side of hi# match. 1 have an exact match for him, and and kept them for the carringe only—sw ing to this fellow being a little refraciory in the carriage I bad concluded to have hint driven a trip or two in a wagon to Augusta. He is more valuable to me than he proba oly will be to any other person, in as muck as I have a most excellent match tor him— I herefore will pledge myself to the per* son who has taken him, that if he will faring him to me in Sparta, and allow me .o give him thirty nine lashes on his bare back, I will not pester the penitentiary with himi- Should he be traded, as he probably will* * before he gels far from Augusta, 1 will re ward any pet-sun for their trouble in giving information of him to Maj.
