230 acres cleared and under good fence,
fifty or sixty of which is fresh and well a
dapted to the culture of Corn, Cotton,
and grain of any kind; a comfortable
dwelling house, good kitchen, with all
necessary out buildings, including a new
Gin House and Gin ; also a very large new
Stable. There are about 300 apple trees
of choice fruit—together with 500 bear
ing peach trees; also a Still, ami stands
sufficient to save the fruit. In addition,
there is a good garden, two convenient
flush springs of as pine water as any in
the neighborhood. The plantation has
undergone the necessary repairs, - and
preparation making for the pitching of a
crop of corn of 100 acres, and cotton of
8f acres : also small grain in proportion.

Plantation in Burke county, the ensuing
season ; he will be let to mares at the re
duced price of fifteen dollars the season,
payable the first day of January next,
which may be discharged with ten dollars
if paid by the first of November ; twenty
dollars to ensure a mure with foal—the in
surance money to be paid as soon as the
mare is discovered to be with foal, or the
property altered—fifty cents to the groom
m every case, and eight dolors tht single
visit. Marcs from a distance w ill be at
tended to at 12$ cents per day No re
sponsibility for accidents or escapes, but
every care will be taken to prevent both.
The season will commence the tenth of
March, and end the tenth of June.
PEDIGREE.
SCIOLTO was got by the imported
sorrel Dioraed; his dam by W’ildair; his
grand dam by Spadille; his great grand
dam by the imported horse Crullord ; —as
to the beauty, muscular power, and ele
gant form of Sciollo, we have as yet seen
no horse that is as well to recommend
himself; we have it sufficiently certified
that Sciollo has never been trained or tur
ned by gentlemen who were known to Ills
foaling; as suofi I have no account of his
performance, but challenge the best
[ judges to find any deficiency inform, shape
| or action ; as such I candidly pronounce
him one among the best horses in Ameri
ca, or any oilier part of the world.

The Celebrated Running

The price of the season is twenty-five
dollars, payable by note on the 25th De
cember next, which note mus' be sen
with the mare If twenty dollars arc sent
with the marc or paid within the season,
it will discharge the season—Fifty cents
to the groom. The season will commence
the first day of March, and end the first
day of July. Mares left with the horse
will be led and taken care of for 25 cents
per day.
The money must be paid when the
mares are taken away. The best of wheat
and barley pastures are provided for the
reception of mares left with the horse —no
responsibility for accidents or escapes—
good attention will be paid to every mare
in rotation—any person left in charge wkh
the mares boarded gratis.
Any person putting a mare that does
not prove with foal, shall have the benefit
of the and fall season gratis, as
Gallatin will not be removed from his sta
ble within the year.
