Brought to jail in Jackson
bentaugh, Geoifiia, 24th day of April, 1821,
a negro boy who says Misname is George,
I and that he belongs to James Prestile, of
Augusta, Georgia;—lie is a country born,
about fifteen years old, four feet six or
seven inches high, of dark complexion,
says he was accustomed to work out in thr
country in the field, also to mind stock,
&c and says he was took off - by some
waggoners who carried him to Savannah
and left him. The owner is requested f
come forward, prove property, pay char
ges and take him.
