ing, 1 observe anarticle, promising to'dis
prove “by substantial documents, the
bate insinuation,” as they are termed, con
tained in my.communication in the Herald.
I have no objections that Mr. Young's
character should be supported by every
.man in community, nor would I, sp longvas
his/riend« co.ifine themselves to his justi
fication alone, interfere to prevent its!
good tendency—but if lam driven by the
recrimination of any person but Mn Young
himtelf, to further hostility, I will make
such an exposition of j fact, as must inevit
aWy justify me iu the opinion of every
unbiassed mind. • •
