UPON the petition of Richard Richard
son, praying the foreclosure of the
Equity of Redemption of a certain tract
or parcel of land lying, being and situate
in the county of Burke and Slate ol Geor
gia, bounded as follows ;—that is to say,
Northwardly by land formerly owned and
possessed by Jordan Taylor j Eastward!)
by .lames Tindal, Vbilip Thomas and John
Smith's land; Southwardly by James Mar
tin's land, and Weatwardly by Joshua
Nunon’s land, containing one thousand
ocres, more or less, having the creek rivu
let, or brunch called the Rosemary, lim
ning through a part of said tract or parcel
of land, w hich said tract or parcel of laiwf
was on the sixth day of May, in the year
of our Lord one thousand, eight hundred
and seventeen mortgaged by the said Je
remiah Miller to the said Richard //ir.h
-erdson, to secure the payment of the sum
efthree thousand three hundred and ele
ven dollars and eighty three cents, with the
interestaccruing thereon, to be paid on the
first day ol February next, after the date
of said mortgage, with interest from the
first day of January, in the year of our
Lord, one thousand, eight hundred and
seventeen, and agreeable to the condition
ol a bond bearing even date w ith said
mortgage —On motion of Felix .1. Horns,
attorney for the said Richard Richardson,
ft,it Ordered that the said Jeremiah Mrtier
do within twelve months pay into the
Clerk’s office the principal, interest, and
cost due on said mortgage, or in default
thereof, the equity of redemption in the
auid mortgaged premises will from thence
forth be for ever foreclosed and bared.
It is further ordered that a copy of the
foregoing rule be published in one of the
public gazettes of Ibis state, once a month
tor twelve months, or he personally serv
ed on the raid Jeremiah Miller si - : months
before the tittle appointed for the pay
ment of the money into court as aforesaid.

Upon the petition of Skuter Cowling,
praying' the foreclosing the equity of re
demption in and to all that tract of land
lying and being in the county of Lincoln
ami slate of Georgia, containing five hun
dred and seventy acres, more or less, ad
joining lands of Gathered and Saunders on
the South ; Kastwardly by lands of Mrs
Hunter and John Ware; Northwardly by
Seaslrunk’s land, and Wcstwardly by lands
of lloberl Fleming and estate of Downing,
which said tract of land was mortgaged by
Nathaniel Adams in bis life time to your
petitioner, the better to secure the sum
of three thousand two hundred and forty
seven dollars and sixty two cents, with
interest.
On motion of Micajah Henley, attorney
or said Skuter Cowling —lt is Ordered,
that the principal, interest, and cast be
paid into court within twelve months from
this day, otherwise the equity of redemp
tion iu and to the mortgaged premises will
be from henceforth for ever bared and
foreclosed, and this rule-bo published in
one of the public gazettes of this slate,
once in every month until the time ap
pointed by this rule for payment, or aco
pv served upon the said administrator of
the mortgagor or his special agent, at least
six months previous to the lime the mo
ney is directed to he paid into court.

M. HE subscriber being desirous to're
move to the Western country; again offers

whereon he now lives, situated in Cohirn
bia county, thirteen miles from Augus
ta, and nine from Columbia Court-House,
immediately leading from the latter to the
former place. This tract of Land,
contains three hundred and twenty.four
acres, about two hundred ten of which is
cleared, and under good fences; the soil
is equal to any upland in the county, and
a pavfof that which is to clear, is equal
■ to any in the state. The situation is high
and believed to be as healthy as any in
the neighbourhood. On the premises is
a good dwelling house, good kitchen, and
all necessary out buildings, including a
new Gin House andSlabies. Also, a large
Orchard of Peach, Apple and Cherry
trees, a good garden, two flush springs
of pure water, quite convenient, This
’ Plantation having having been advertised
last spring; I deem it unnecessary to say
any thing more of its situation, qualities,
he. as it is expected that those wishing
to purchase will view it themselves.—
Should this tn-ct of land be too small,
there are five or six hundred acres of got d
lands adjoining, which rnry be bought on
good terms immediately.
The above described tract of land will
lie offered at private sale, until Thursday,
the sth day of December next, and if not
sold will then be put tip to the highest
bidder, together with all the Plantation
tools, corn, fodder, household St kitchen
