Bank of live Suite of Georgia, praying
tne foreclosure of the Equity of Redemp
lion in and tofour lots of Land, lying and

state aforesaid, known in the plan of lots
laid out at the upper end of Broad-Street,
by Daniel Sturges, Surveyor General, on
the twenty.eighth day of February, eigh
teen hundred and eighteen, and lying on
the south side of Broad-Street, as num
bers nine, ten, eleven and twelve, contain
ing each thirty feci front on said Broad
fitrect, and extending back to Ellis Street,
os by reference to said plan will more fully
appear; which said four lota of land were
mortgaged by Adam Hutchison, an the
first day of July, one thousand eight him
«lred and eighteen, to UarnaM'Kinne, and
by said Barna M-Kinne assigned to the
said Planter’s Bank, on the twenty-ninth
day of July, «ne thousand eight hundred
and nineteen, <m which mongage the re
is now due twelve hundred and sixty-se
ven dollars and a half, with interest.
Ami now at this term, upon motion of
Thomas Fiuurnoy, in behalf of said Bank,
Jt is ordered, That the principal, interest
and costs due upon the said mortgage, be
paid unto court, within twelve months
from tlie date hereof, or the Equity of
Hedemption in the said mortgaged, pre
raises will be foreclosed, and the same dis
posed of ns tire law dirvets. And it it

lished in one of the public Gazettes of

UPON the petition of the President,
Directors and Conipany of the Bank
of Augusta, praying the foreclosure of
the equity of redemption in and io a cer
tain lot or parcel of land in the city of
Augusta, lying on the south side of Broad
Street, and extendingbach to Ellis street,
ou which and on Broad street it has a
front of twenty-seven feet, bounded on
the east by John Cashin's lot, and on the 1
west by John Gindral’s lot; also in and to
another lot or parcel of land i» Summer 1
ville, about three miles from Augusta,
containing two news, bounded on the .
north cast by Walton Way, having a front 1
thereon of two hundred and sixteen feet,
conveyed by James Murphey and wife to
Thomas Grace, which said lots were mort
gaged by the sat 1 Thomas Grace to the
Said Prnsident, Directors and Company
of the Bank of Augusta on the eighteenth
day of August, in the year of our Lord
one thousond, eight hundred and nine
teen, to secure the payment of sundry
promissory notes, amounting in the whole
to seven thousand three hundred and
ninety six dollars: snd the sum ct seven
thousand five hundred and sixty seven
dollars and twenty seven cents being us v

RULE MSI.
Upon the Petition of the Planters’
Bank, of the stale of Georgia, praying the
foreclosure of the equity of redemption,
in and to two lots of in (he county
snd state aforesaid, and city of Augusta,
in thoplari of lots laid out at the upper
end of Broad street, in said, city of Augus
ta, by Daniel Sturges, Surveyor General,
on the twenty-eighth day of February,
one thousand eight hundred St eighteen,
lying on the south tide of Broad street,
as numbers fifteen and sixteen, containing
thirty feet end), front on -.rid Broad-street,
and extending back to Ellis street; which
said lots of land were mortgaged on the
first day of July, one thousand eight hun
dred and eighteen, by Patrick McDovvall,
in his life tine, to Burns McKinne, to se
cure the payment of the sum of fifteen
hundred and twenty-seven collars and a
half, w hich said mortgage, the said Barna
McKincc, assigned to the Planters’ Bank,
of the state of Georgia, on the twenty
ninth of July, one thousand eight hun
dred and nineteen, upon which there is
now due the sum of five hundred and nine
dollars and seventeen cents, besides inter
ests as is stated.
And now, upon motion of Thomas
Floutnoy, attorney for said Bank: It is or
dered, that the principal, interest and
costs due on said mortgage be paid into
Court within twelve months from the date
hereof, or the equity of redemption in
the said mortgaged premises, will be for
ever foreclosed, and the said lots will be
disposed of, as the law directs.
Audit is further ordered, that this Rule
be published in one of the Public Gi
ettesof this state, at least once in every
month until the time appointed for pay
ment, orserved on the mortgagor or Ids
special agent, at least six months previous
to the time, the money is directed to be
paid.

made, has a very conspicuous scar on his

THE proprietors of the Auj, usta line of
Stages caution travellers from taking
seats between the established offices,
without having their names inserted on
tire way bill. A practice Iras hitherto ex
isted of suffering persons to enter the
stage, to the grear inconvenience o r those
who have taken regular seats, a.ul which
yields no profit to the proprietors. It
cannot be allowed for the future. The
greatest attention will be paid to the ac
comodation of the regular passengers;
which consideration docs not admit of the
carriage being overcrowded by inter
