nesday in December.
Each student jgill be required to pay
ten dollars on admittance ; and for tuition
in the Classical Department, or Preparato-
XV School, to he paid at (he beginging of
each term, thirty dolßus for the first,and
twenty dollars for the second.
Musi vigilant attention will he paid to
(he moral habits, as well aa to the health,
and comfort, and literary progress of the

The. Trustees cannot be insensible of
the High expectations created by the pe
culiar advantages of a College located at
the seat of the .National Government.—
The recommendation of a University here
by the illustrious Washington and his sue
oessors, could not fail to impart great in
terest to such an institution } and the Trus
tees have experienced a very particular
filcasure in observing live national feeling

cure the payment of the sum of fifteen

. street, in Augusta, by Daniel .Slurges,
.surveyorTler.olal, on (lie twenty-eighth
day of February, one thousand eight hun
dred and eiphu eii, and lying on the north
side of Eroad street, as numbers one, two,
eleven and twelve, each containing thirty
feet f ront on said Mroad street, (number
one excepted,) which contains on Broad
street, twenty-two and a half fee!, and on
Jones Street, thirty feet, being the same

Lots; which said Lots were mortgaged by
James 11 Lufiite to llama McKinne, on the
first day of July, one thousand eight hun

recollected. He is about five years old,
has a large bushy tail, and long mane;
