his attention to persons afflicted with chronic and
supposed incurable forms of disease. From his suc
cess heretofore in the management of such cases,
persons afflicted will find it tP their ipterfst to jive
him a trial, for if ho docs not permanently cure) he
mav at least mitigate their sum-rings.
Those especially laboring under Liver Complaint,
Dyspepsia, Rheumatism, Lumbago, Splenitis, Broo-
enctis, Cough, Erysipelatous affections, Scroffula,
Leprosy, Tetter, Syphilis Gonorhea Gleet, Tic Dou
loureux, Hysteria, Palsey, Epilepsy, Chorea, Dropsy,
Amenorbea, Prolapsus Uteri, Ac. Sic., Piles, Hernia,
Calculi of the Bladder, Ulcers, Hydrocele, &c., would
do well to consult him.
Dr. N. will remove all cases of Syphalilie taint
from the system, and warrant them, no cure no pay.
Persons living at a distance, who arc afflicted,
would do well to call in person, if not convenient, by
communicating, post paid, with Dr. Nichols, giving
symptoms, Sic., and enclosing tho fee, §10, can re
ceive directions for tbe management of their cases.

year first aforesaid, transfered and delivered said note
to said James C. Dozier, he being then in life, in a
fair course of trade, and for a valuable consideration.
And afterwards, on the eighth day of May, eighteen
hundred and forty, the said Erwin and Daniel, tho
better to secure the payment of tho said promissory
note unto tho said James C. Dozier, ho being then
still in life, and the bona fide bearer and owner there
of, executed under their hands and seals, and then
and there delivered to the said James C. Dozier, their
certain Mortgage Deed, thereby mortgaging to tbe
said Janies C. Dozier one lot of land, known by the
number two hundred and twenty-three, in the third
District of said connty ofDooiy, with a grist and saw
mill thereon, and all the appertenanees thereof; and
which said mortgage was duly recorded in terms of
the statute in such cases made and provided; and it
further appearing to the Court, that tlio note herein
before described, is the identical note, the payment of
which said mortgage was iintended to secure, al
though tho same is not described in said mortgage,
except as to the amount of principal, and the time
when the same became due and payable; and that
there is still remaining due and unpaid, upon said
note, tho sum of nine hundred and ninety-three dol
lars and forty cents principal, and the further sum of
two hundred and ninety-three dollars and thirty
cents interest thereon, up to this date; and the.
tiff having prayed the foreckenre of said mortgage
It is therefore, on motion of Kelly St Kiilen, Plain
tiff's Attorneys, Ordered that the said Erwin and
Daniel do pay into this Court, on or before the first
day of the next Term, the principal and interest due,
anil tho interest hereafter to accrue upon said note
and mortgage, or shew good and sufficient cause to
tbe contrary, and that service of thia Rule be per
fected by publication of the same once a month for
fourmontns in some public gazette published in this
State, or bv service of copies thereof upon tbe said
Erwin ami Daniel, or their agents or representatives,
three mouths before the said next Term.
