compunv can be easily found out by looking at the
blackest one amongst the men, and exam
Tree Papers which will consist principally of notes
and executions &c., which have been placed in hands
for collection (bis name is L. B. Alday.) The next
named John R. Odom, is a man about 5 feet and 10
inches high, blue eyes and of rather a florid com
plexion, and quick spoken. David Burke
discribed by a peculiar limpin one of his legs, that
would cause a stranger to think he was acting
Billy Barlow with ‘onejboot and one shoe.’ The said
mentioned Daniel Alday is not quite so “God-like”
and being very small in stature, mav be found “stow
ed away” in some corner of this ‘•den’*ofrunaways.

brutal outrage, on the person of Jesse S. Thomas,
one of our most peacable and respectable citizens,
by stabbing him in several places with a large knife,
