GRO VERJ
SEWING
BAKER’S
ACjHNES,
R EASONS why the GROVER & BAKER Ma
chine is universally prefered for family sewing:
1st. It in more simple, - and easier kept in order,
than any other Machine.
2d. It makes a seam which will not rip or ravel,
thoogh every third stitch is cut.
3d. It new* from two ordinary spools, and thus
all tronlde of winding thread is avoided, while the
same machine can be adapted at pleasure, by a mere
change ifspool, to all varieties of' work.
4l5. The same mac
machine runs sttfc, linen thread,
and common spool cotton with equal facility.
6tb. 1 he seam is as elastic as the most elastic
fabric, so that it is free from all liability to break in
crashing, ironing, or otherwise.
6ih. The stitch made by this machine is more
beautiful than any other made, either by band or
machine.
Merchants can secure the sales of these Machines
in their different localities, with profit to themselves
and their customers, by applying to tbo undersigned,
owners of the Right for Georgia.
These Machines are always on exhibition at their
Sales Room, on Broad street.
