Samuel D. Irtin, Ordin-.try. being present, the follow
ingtection was h«d—ordered to be spread upon the
Minutes and published ib the Albany -Patriot” for
twoJmontK*, for the befiefct of all persons interested.
The BoaFd of Education of the County of Dough
erty, formed In pursuance of an Act of the Legisla
ture, passed Deoeniber 1859, will meet at the Umrrt
House in said couuty on the 2nd Monday in .Janua
ry next, for the purpose of auditing accounts of
Teachers for the year ending January l«t;-18til.
All persons having claims against the Educational
fund of Dougherty- county, are hereby notified to
present them in person nt that time, or they will.be
debarred from » participation in the distribution
then to be made. *.
Before the account of any Teacher will be allowed,
they will have to satisfy the Board by a public ex
amination, of their,competency to tench the Elemen
tary branches.of an English education.
The account of each teacher when presented, must
•how the name of each pupil .taught, and the number
of days for which they claim payment—it must be
plainly and distinctly made out, that it may bc'tea-
•ily understood, or it will be rejecrcd— each account
must be VfHfied by the oath of the teacher; taken
and subscribed in the presence of the Board, by
whom the form pf the oath jrill be prescribed—the
Board reserving to themselves the right’to require
any teacher to support their affidavit by oilier evi
dence whenever they shall fhmk proper. ... f •
The Board will expect .each teacher also, ns infor
mation for future reference, to furnish them with

2nd. The number taught the Elementary branches
of *an English education—under this head give 4 ho
