The new Proprietors of the TELEGRAPH are re
solved, to spare no labor, or exponse, to make it the
LEAtHKO paper of Ihe State, if not of the South. In
addition to its regular corps of Editojs—who are
men of much experience, and well and favorably
known in the South—we havo employed able cor-
respondants at most of the leading points of interest
—such as Washington, New York, Purtf, Liver
pool, &c. „ .
Leamxo Fk.vtures.—The leading features in the
TELEGRAPH will be its devotion to the rights, in
terests and feelings of Georgia and her stricken
sister States: we wcuil lift them up from the val
ley of humiliation, exhort them to a forgetfulness of
the past, except its glories, and nerve their arms for
the arduous struggles of the future.^
Commercial Departeent.—The Commercial De
partment of the TELEGRAPH will receive special
attention. Daily reports will be given of sll the
leading markets of the Union, together with a full
weekly review of the local market; while, on the'
arrival of every stoamer, European political and
commercial accounts will be giveu. In this respect
we hope to offer such advantages as will make the
TELEGRAPll an indispensable visitor to the count
ing-room of every merchant and tradesman. _
Education, Agriculture and the Mechanio Arts
will be fostered as the true sources of all National
and individual prosperity
