has just, been passed by the Legis

other dangerous weapon, shall be
liable to prosecution by indictment
or presentment, mid on conviction,

not less than two hundred and fifty
! dollars nor more than five hundred
dollars, or imprisonment for one
month ; and for the second offence
not less than five hundred dollars
nor more than one thousand dollars,
or imprisonment in the parish prison

,- it is not my wish to become notorious, neither is
this letter written for the mere sake of writing, but to say
that your Ointment cured me of one of the most cutane
ous diseases that flesh is heir to, and which was consider
ed by all who knew me, to be entirely beyond the reaeh
-of medicine. For nine years 1 was ulllieted with one of
the most painful and troublesome sore legs that ever tell
to the lot of man ; and after trying every medicine I hud
ever heard**, 1 resigned in despair, all hope of being
cured; but a friend brought me a couple of large pots of
your Ointment, which caused the sores on my legs to
heal, an l I entirely regaiuedmy health to my agreeable

Dear Sir—lt is with heartfelt gratitude I have to in- •
form you that by the use of your Oinvnent and Pills, the j
life of my wife lias been saved. For seven years she had
a bad breast with ten running wounds, (not of a cancer
ous nature). 1 was told that nothing could save her:
she was then induced'to use your Ointment and Pills,
when in the short space of three months, they effected a
fcure, to the astouishmeut of all who knew us. Wc ob
tained your Medicines from Messrs.
