One Hundred Dollars in gold.will be given
to any person who, on Analysis, will discover
one grain of arsenic or other mineral poison
in Dr. Harley's Ague Tonic. It is purely
vegetable, and tho most happy combination
that the scienco of medicine has as yot devel
oped to successfully coinbat the most prevalent
diseases incident to a billious or malarious
climate. It is the most perfect anti-periodic—
always breaking the Ghili in three or fonr
doses ; but better than that or all else, and
what renders it tho most efficient and vnlnable
compound extant, is the universally oonceded
fact that it leaves the patient in better health
than before tho attaek, with no puffing up of
the skin, no buzzing iu the head, no deafness,
no impaired vision, but a clear head, a trans
parent skin, a bright eye, an elastic step and
buoyant health.
It eliminates disease from tho system by
dissipating engorgements of the secretions,
exciting the liver to healthy action and giving
the paucrcatic and hepatic juices their normal
condition and healthy flow.
It is a better preventive than cure, and if
people conld be prevailed upon to take it, in
say half doses three times a day, during the
chilly sooson, they would have perfect immu
nity from chills and all the train of con
comitant diseases ; but who, except the very
prudont, will take medicine beforo they are
sick ?
For sale everywhere. Read Jab. Ruddle A
Co.’s column. oct7-tf
Tho surgeons roports show that our armies
have suffered greatly from chills and fever
whioh is induced by tho miasma and chnnge
of climate to which they aro exposed. They
also find Ayer's Ague Cure is an effectual rem
edy for this distemper, and are urging the gov
ernment to adopt it within the regulations.
The Surgeon-General hesitates, because it is
put up in a proprietary form. However great
that convenience to tho pablic, he prefers tho
physicians of the army should give their own
directions for the doses. Whatever profes
sional pride may dictate, ho knows ns well as
wo do, that Dr. Ayer’s "Curo" is an almost
perfect antidote for the Ague, and that the
soldiers shoold have the benefit of it, as well as
tho people.—[Washington (D. O.) Correspon
dent.
J. A. Butts A Co., Bainbridgo, Go., say :
We have hoard some say they would not take
ten thousand dollars for the benefit derived
from Simmons' Liver Regulator.
Rev. 8. Gardner, Attapulgus, Ga., says:
For all derangemonts of the liver, or dyspep
sia, diarrbcoa and piles, Simmons’ Regulator
has no superior. It acts like a charm.
John J. Allen, Bibb county, says : I can
confidently say that it has done me more good
than all the medioine I ever nsed. I shall
never be without it. Simmon's Liver Regu
lator seems to bo gaining golden opinions, and
every one should use it.
