We are pleased to announce to onr readers this
morning, the safety of the steamship Cbaae. The

The steamship Weybosaett Captain Parrish,

takes the place of the steamship America, which
bas been temporarily laid up for the purpose ol
overhauling her machinery. We are under obli
gations to R.B. Parish, the obliging Purser of
the Weybosaett, for favors.

are unable to ascend as far as Hawkinsville.

place, and has landed her cargo eight mil es
this side, at a point called Buzzard’s Roost.
