WARDS OF THE CITT.
The City cf Atlanta shall bo laid off into five wards, as
follows, to-wlt:
Commencing at the crossing of Whitehall street with
tho Western A Atlantic Railroad, and running up the
aonth side of said railrod to the incorporation line, then
down said line to tho center of Whitehall street, then
north along the center of said street to the starting point,
and which ehall be known and constitute Ward number
One.
Commencing at the center of the crossing of Whitehall
street, at tho Western A Atlantic Railroad, and running
east down the railroad to the crossing of Calhonn street,
in the rear of the Georgia Railroad workshop, thon south
along the middle of said street to the center of McDon
ough street, thenco along the center of McDonough street
to the incorpontlon line, then along said line to the cen
ter of Whitehall street at Its crossing at the Incorporation
line, thou along the ceuter of said street to the starting
point, which shall be known End constitute Ward num
ber Two.
Commencing at the center of Calhoun street, at its
south crosslug of the Georgia Railroad workshop, and
running down the south side of said railroad to the In
corporation line, then along aald line to the center of Mc
Donough street to the starting poinLwhlch shall consti
tute and be known as Ward number Three.
Commencing on the north side of the Georgia Railroad,
in the center of the crossing of said railroad by Loyd
street, and running down the north side of said railroad
to the incorporation line, then along said line to Ivy
street, then along the renter of Ivy street to Decatur
street, then along said street west to the centor of Lovd
to the starling point, which shall constitute and be
known as Ward number Four.
Commencing at the north of said railroad, at tho cen
ter of the crossing of Loyd street, and running west
along the north slim of the Western A Atlantic Railroad
to the incorporation line, then along laid line to tho cen
ter of Ivy street, then south along the center of De
catur street to the center of Loyd street, then along tho
ceuter of Loyd street to the starting point, which shall
constltate aud be known at Ward number Five.
