Commencing at the crossing of Whitehall street with
the Western A Atlantic Railroad, and running up the
south sldo of said railrcd to the incorporation line, then
down said line to the center of Whitehall street, then
north along tho center of said street to the starting point,
and which shall be kuown and constitute Ward numbei
One.
Commencing at the center of the crossing of Whitehall
street, at tho Western & Atlantic Railroau, and running
east down the railroad to the crossiug of Culhoun street,

In this great scheme, which has become so very popu
lar throughout tho United mates, purchaser* select their

per to pay for their tickets, aud prizes are paid accord
ingly. Any person can go to any vender of the Geori

State Lottery, select their own numbers, and the vendor
will give a ticket of the name—the vendor will enter the
*‘auio numbers upon tho Manager’s register—and pur
chasers will be careful to see them entered upon tho reg
ister, a* the managers are responsible for that only.
Every ticket has the clas* numbered on it, and the draw
ings are in public, as follows: Ou the drawing of the
lottery numbers from 1 to 78. printed ou separate pieces
of paper, are encircled with bras* tulies, and one by one
placed iu a brass wheel. The wheel is revolved aud the
numbers well mixed. It is then opened, anil a boy, blind
folded, draws our. one number, which is opened and ex
hibited to the audience. This operation Is repeated until
ihe whole 12 number* are drawn out, and these 12 num
bers decide all tickets in (hat class. All numbers drawn
In the Supplementary .Scheme are equal—no difference in
what order they couie from the wheel.
