Of the Supplementary Scheme,and Mode of Drawings
In this great scheme, which ha# become #o very popu
lar throughout the United State#, purchasers select their
own numbers, and whatever price they may think pro
per to pay for their tickets, ana prize# uru paid accord
ingly. Any person can go to any vender of lire Georgia
State Lottery, aelcct their own numbers, and the vendor
will give a ticket of the tame—the vendor will enter the
tame number# upon iho Manager’s register—nnd pur
chasers will be careful to see them entered upon the reg
ister, as the managers aru responsible lor tliat only.
Every ticket ha# the class numbered on It, and tho draw
ings are iu public, as follows: On tho/drawing of the
lottery numbers from 1 to 78. printed on separate pieces
of paper, are encircled with bras* tubes, and one by one
placed iu a brass wheel. The wheel Is revolved and the
numbers well mixed. It Is then opened, and u boy, blind
folded, draws out one number, Which is opeoed und ex
hibited to the audience. This operation is repeated until
the whole 19 numbers are drawn out, and these 19 num
bers decide all tickets in that class. All numbers drawn
lu the {Supplementary Scheme are equal—no difference In
what order they come from the wheel.

Commencing at tho crossing of Whitehall street with
thu Western A Atlantic Railroad, and running up the
south side of said railrod to tho incorporation line, then
down said lino to tho center of Whitehall street, then
north along the center of said street to tho starting point,
and which shall bo known and constitute Ward number
Commencing at the center of the crossing of Whitehall
street, at tho Western & Atlantic Railroad, aud running
east down tho railroad to the crossing of Calhoun street,
in tho rear of the Georgia Railroad workshop, then south
along the middle of said street to tho center of McDon
ough street, thonco along tho center of McDonough street
to the incorooritlon line, then along said line to the cen
