Sail is a stout made woman about five feet four inches high, somewhat yellow in the face, and between thirty and tbirty-five years old. Rhoda is of a more slender form, inclined to be yel low, about five feet six inches high, eighteen years old, and has n down look when spoken to. They were enticed away, it Is supposed, by some negro boatmen, by whom, it is probublc, they are now se creted, and who may attempt to convey them by water to .the seacoast. The wenches were, at the time of desertion, on the way from Darlington Dis trict, South Carolina, to Alabama. Twenty dollars reward will be given for lodging them in jail, or ten dollars for either, and advising the undersigned, liv ing near Moutgomeiy, Alabama, of the faetby letter; and fifty dollars will be given for proof to conviction of their being harbored by any person. HE following extracts from the Bylaws adapted by the Board at their first meeting, ere made public, for the information of candidates who may in future apply for License to practice Medicine, Ac. 1st. Applicants for examination shall be required to write and present a Thetis on some medical subject, and band the same to the Dean on or before each an- lal meeting of the Board. 2d. The Board will require of each candidate a of Chenf to any candidate who is materially deficient in any of those branches. 3d. In future, applicants having Diplomas, shall be expected to send them to this Board torexaminatiop, and that in no- case shall a temporary or permanent license he granted upon the testimony of a member of this Board, or any other individual, without the Di- ploma. 4th. A re-examination will be granted by the Board at the same session, to rejected applicants, on the sole condition-, that the second examination be held pub licly, and the questions and answers recorded on the miuutes. Stop the runaway Mulatto Samihj W HEREAS some time ago Jemitnah Armwood, a free mulatto woman, lor tho sum of two huudred dollars (to euable her to purchase her hus band named Richard, or more commonly called Dick Youngblood, well known in Barnwell District, South Carolina) bound three of her girls, named Becky, about 17 years old; Teena, about 14; and Barcas,' about 12, to me, to serve u indented servants,— and on Thursday, the 8th instant, she inveigled them from my service, and removed to ports unknown, taking with then my three servants. A reward of twenty dollars will be paid for appre- hemllng the said Jemimab, her husband Dick, Becky and Teens, and securing then) in any jail and giving me information, or five dollars for either,or fifty dol lars to deliver them to me or in the Augusta jail.— They have besides five smaller children, one a suck ing baby, and may probably have their son, named Daniel, a tali likely young mar, about twenty-five years of aga, all mnl&ttoes, ten or eleven in num ber.
