The undersigned begs leave In inform the public
that the above is a court of general jurisdiction in all
manner ol cases, apiiertaining to Serathes. Wigs Curls,
Fritelles, Braids, Whiskers, Mustaehioes, ami Beards,
from the delicate ringlets of the Highland lassie, to the
glossy locks of the Hindoo Rajah. He can clothe the
naked bead, and denude those too profusely clad. He
cun adjust a Beau Catcher in the most approved Lon
don or Parisian atyle j and can aid tlie fair, in catching
n Beau, and can make the Beau more gallant after he
is caught. In n word, he can do every thing to adorn
and ornament the Chin and Head, except auding more
brains; and in (his intelligent community, there is no
need of that process.
As his court is governed by the rules of civil law,
there will be iio attorney and jury fees to spend; and
whether the client gains or loses a suit, there will be
nothing to pay hut the court costs. As the utmost deco
rum and attention to business are the roles of his office,
he ennnot promise to nmust suitors with an exhibition
of Bears, Raccoons, Foxes, and Hawks; but their places
shall he supplied by Sharp Raton, Shining Basins,
Clean Towels, and Good Brushes. His Court, like a
Court of Equity is always open; nnd from his decis
ions there are no appeals, certioraries, nor injunctions;
and lie |iltdges himself that, in no case shall there he a
stay of execution. His office is near the Macon Hotel,
occupied by Mr. Bruen, fronting the public square,

O N the petition of Uusiavus Hendrick, shewing to

bis life time, (to Wit) on tile twenty-filth day of Febru
ary, eighteen hundred and twenty-six, trout under his
hand and seal, executed a mortgage, to him, of a cer
tain lot of (and, in the town of Clinton, in the county
and state aloresaid, with a dwelling and storehouse,
law office or doctor's shop, kitcheu, smoke bouse and
stable thereon, adjoining lots belonging to James
Thweatt and Nancy Slather, and boundedon one side
by a street, and being a part of lots tiuuiber sixteen and
seventeen, and being in length two hundred and ten
feet, and in breadth ninety feet, containing one half
acre, more or less—To secure the payment of one thou,
sand dollars, due by said John Uuin to said Gustuvus
Hendrick, ou a note ol band, dated the eighteenth of
Murcli, eighteen hundred and twenty-five, and due
the twenty-fifth day of December thereafter, nnd said
John Uuin having dejierted this titc, intestate, without
having jiaid said sum of money, or any part thereof,
and there being no administration on his estate:
On motion therefore, Ordered. That the heirs and re
presentatives ot John Uuin, deceased, nay, into the
Clerk’s Office of this court, the principnl, interest end
cost due oivzuid mortgage, within twevie months here
after, or the equity of redemption of, in, and to the
mortgaged premises will be thereafter barred and fore*
closed, and said mortgaged property ordered to hs
