ALL that Ifiand in view of Dar ien, on the
Alatamaha, known by the name of
Black Island,
Containing about 300 acres cf high land,
and 900 acres of brackilh and freih marsh.
The high land is of the firft quality for Cotton,
and the crop of the noli promising kind. It
has also this advantage, that it may be eafiiy
flowed ,with frefii W’atcr, and of couife equally
well adapted for the culture of rice as of cot
ton. The high land giving complete security
both for settlements and preservation of crops.
It is well known from the fucccfsful experiments
which major Butler has made by planting simi
lar lands, that they are not only very produc
tive, but the quality of the cotton is much su
perior to that ruifed on the high land. There
will be fold with the above property, one hun
dred seasoned SLAVES, and poffeflion can

RAN-AWAY from the fubferiber, in Hancock
county near Sparta, two likely young negro men,
20 years of age, about five feet 9 or 10 inches high,
names rOM and CHARLES. Charles is flout and
well made, when he goes to l'peak, holds his mouth opet*
foino time before he can utter a word, and then flut
ters uncommonly bad while speaking. Tom is mid
ling spare made, and has somewhat of a black skin.—
I am apprehensive that the above deferibed Negroes
will mauke to fome sea port, in order to take fhippmg.
Any peafon that will apprehend the said negroes,
and deliver them to the fubferiber, or secure them fa
he gets them again ,lhall receive the above reward.

vannah Jail, and neceflary expences paid She
has been used to house work, is a cock arul
washer, &c. and occasionally has'worked in the
field. I expect that said wench has gone to
Augufla, or was landed at Purisburgh, as I
have reason to apprehend, that she left thi
in one of the Augufla boats.

hand; he has a wife at Mrs. Haifts on Wilming
ton, and it is supposed he will be about thf;.

are cautioned not to harbour, employ or take
him away, as the law will be rigorously enforced
against them. Whoever will return him to the
fubferiber, or lodge him in goal in Savannah*
shall receive the above reward.
