ON the petition of Moses Way, of said coun
ty, planter, stating that he was possessed
of a certain deed or title to some negroes, and
personal property, as trustee, for the use of
Mrs. Rebecca f hearer, and her issue, a copy
whereof, as nearly as the petitioner could re
collect, was annexed to said petition, and is now
lodged in the clerk’s office, together with affi
davits pursuant to the act of Assembly, has
been lost or destroyed—and praying the bene
fit intended by s. id acts, and other circumstan
tial proof being laid before Court—
It is ordered, That the said deed, or title of
sale Irom Matthew Sheaier, Sc Rebecca Shear
er, his wife, to Moses Way, of Negroes ami
some personal property, be established as di
rected by law, on the said Moses Way’s pub
lishing a weekly notice in one of the public

real and personal, for the benefit of his creditors, and
praying to be’ admitted to the benefit of the infoivent
debtor’s acts of this date.

Gieiles, or published in one of the gazettes, that they
may appear at the Court-House in Savannah, on the

twelve hundred acres of land, situate in the pre
sent county of Liberty, in the state ofGeoigia,
known by the name of Buillie’s neck; bounded
south and southwest on .North-New port liver
and land of Robert Nobles, east and northeast
on land of George Nollies and vacant land, and
north and northw est on vacant land, bearing date
the day of , one thousand seven hun
dred and sixty-four; a copy whereof,as nearly as
the petitioner could recollect, was annexed to
said petition, is now lodgedm the clerk’s office,
together with an affidavit, pursuant to the acts
of this state, of force in such cases, has been
lost or destroyed ; and praying the benefit in
tended by the aforesaid acts, and other circum
stantial proof being laid before the court : It is

ting, that a ceitain deed of gift made and executed by
William M'Douald, formerly of the pariffi of .-t.
George, then province,now ftateof Georgia, by which
he gave and convened unto his wife Margaret, his
ton John, and his daughter Mary M‘D na,d, after
wards Mary (. hriflie, and to the survivor or surviv
ors of them, their heir and assigns forever, all his es
tate, real and perlonal, whatloever aid vvherefoever
situate, with the lights members and appurtenances to
the said landed, or real eflate belonging, and the iuturc
issue andencreafe ofthe female Caves, and his flock of
every kind, bearing date the firll day of July in the
year of ou: lord one thousand leven hundred and six
ty three, (a copy whereof as nearly as the petitioner
could recollect was annexed tothe laid petition, is now
lodged in the clerk’s oftEe together with an affidavit
pursuant to the laws of force in this state in lucfi ca

time, accident, or during che revolutionary war; and
praying the benefit intended by the laws of force in

Few Tragedies have been read with such
avidity as this of poor Mary Findley, which has
ulieady run largely into the second edition.
May he, whose “ unsuffering kingdom yet shall
come” render it a mean of preventing the re
petition of such horrid crimes and ‘cruelties.
