I 65 SLOOP EXPERIMENT, FOR FASH EXG ERS OXL Y. Eiihu S. Bunker, B5f!S ‘save to inform his friends and the public, that he wi 1. on the firft of July, commence running a loop, of about one hundred and ten tons burthen, be tween the cities of NEW-YORK and HUDSON, for the purpofeof carrying tasSEsotßS. Few people, who have had occasion to take passage tip or dov. n the North River, but have experienced the inconvenience and rifque of going on board vessels deep y loaded and lumbered on deck ; therefore cap tain Bunker has determined to take no freight on hoard the Experiment, which will remedy that inconvenience and entirely do away the rifque. The owners of this v ffel, being desirous to render the passage as short, convenient and agreeable as pos sible, have not only taken cart to lurnifh her with the heft Beds, Bedding, Liquors, Provisions, &c. but they have been at very great expense and trouble in procur ing materials and bui.ding her on the bed conilruction for fai.ing and for the accommodation of ladies and gen tlemen travelling on buiiness or for pleasure. The Xfxperimerit will leave New-York every Vzs ttxsßAV evening precisely at 6 o’clock, and Hudson every Sunday morning at 8 o’clock, through the fea fuit. Captain Bunker having 3ten several years engaged in the freighting business between New-York and Hud son, has become well acquainted with every part of the river; and he hopes, by attention and punciuality, to merit the patronage of ladies and gentlemen from the southward, who may visit the celebrated Baiiston, Saratoga, and Lebanon Springs, or trave* eis who may have occasion to travel through the northern (bites. The fhortneis of the passage to Hudson, when compared with that to Aibany, or any place above Hudson, (where the river is impeded by bars, lflards and overflows that render it impoflible for fall failing vessels to pass) he thinks will induce rnoft people who are acquainted with the difference, to take passage to Hudiou, where carriages or boats can at all tiroes be had at a moderate expenle, to convey them to Albany, Troy, Larifmgburgh, or the Lebanon Springs, which are about 30 mi'es distance.
