ON the petition of Barrack Gibbons, of thr co'uyjy
ot Chatham, in the state of Georgia, planter, Ha
ting, that a certain deed of gilt made and executed by
William iYi‘Dora!d, formerly of the parilh of St.
George, then province, now state of Georgia, by which
he gave and convened umo his wife Margaret, his
foi. John, and his daughter Mary M‘Dona!d, after
wards Mary Christie, and to the survivor or surviv
ors of them, their heir and afligns forever, all his es
tate, real and personal, whatsoever and wheretoever
fliuate, with the rights membeis and appurtenances to
the laid landed, or real estate belonging, and the future
iflue and elicn ale ol the female Haves, and his {lock ol
every kind, beating date the fiiit day of July in the
year ot our lord one thousand seven hundred and iix
ty three, (a copy whereof as nearly as the petitioner
could recollect was annexed to the said petition, is now
lodged in the clerk's office together with ail allnlavit
pursuant to the laws offeree in this state in such ca
ses) that the said deed of gift was loft, or dcltroyed by
time, accident, or during the revolutionary war; and

ot a certain deed or title to some negroes, anti
personal property, as trustee, for the use of
Mrs. Rebecca Shearer, and her issue, a copy
whereof, as nearly as the petitioner could re
collect, was annexed tosaid petition, and is now
lodged in the clerk’s office, together with alli
davits pursuant to the act of Assembly, has
been lost or destroyed—and praying the bene
fit intended by said acts, and other circumstan
tial proof being laid before Court—

sale from Matthew Shearer, Sc Rebecca Shear
er, his wife, to Moses \\ ay, of Negroes and
some personal property, be established as di
rected hy law, on the said Moses \V#y’s pub
