ON the petition of Barrack Gibbons, of the county
of Chatham, in the date of Georgia, planter, da
ting, that a certain deed of gift made and executed by
William M'Donald, formerly of the parish of St.
George, then province, now state of Georgia, by which
he gave and convened un’o his wife Margaret, his
son John, and his daughter Mary McDonald, after
ward, Mary Christie, and to the furvivhr or furviv
ors of them, their heir and afligns forever, all his es
tate, real and personal, whatsoever aud wheresoever
situate, with the rights members and appurtenances to
the fuid landed, or real ellate belonging,and the future
issue and enervate of the female (laves, and his flock of
every kind, beat ing date the fir It day of Jfily in the
year of our lord one thousand leven hundred aud six
ty three, (a copy whereof as nearly as the petitioner
could recollect was annexed to the laid petition, is now
lodged in the clerk’s oftite together w ith an affidavit
purluant to the laws of force in this Itate in such ca

time, accident, or during rhe revolutionary war ; and

ty, planter, statingThut he was possessed
of a certain deed or title to some negroes, and
personal property, as trustee, for the use of
Mrs. Rebecca Shearer, and her issue, a copy
whereof, as nearly as the petitioner could re
collect, was annexed to said petition, aud is now
lodged in the clerk’s office, together with affi
davits pursuant to the act of Assembly, has
been lost or destroyed—and praying the bene
fit intended by said acts aud other circumstan
tial proof being laid before Court—
It is ordered , That the said deed, or title of
sale from Matthew Shearer, ix Rebecca Shear
er, his wife, to Moses May, oi Negroes and
some personal property, be established as di
rected bv law, on the said Moses May’s pulv
fishing a weekly notice in one of the public
gazettes of this state, for the space of six ca
lendar months, unless good cause shall be

John Graham, late of the province of Georgia,
to John Caldwell, late of South-Carolina, pre

south aud southwest on Aorth-Newport river
and land of Robert Nobles, east and northeast
