ON the petition of Barrack Gibbons, of the county
of Chatham, in the state of Georgia, planter, Ha
ting. that a certain deed of gift made and executed by
William M'Donald, formerly of the parish of ,'*t.
George, then province, now state of Georgia, by which
he gave and convened un'o his wife Margaret, his
son John, and his daughter Mary M'Donatd, after
wards Mary c-hriftit, and to the survivor or surviv
ors of them, their heir and aifigns forever, all his es
tate, real and pertonal, whatlocver and wheresoever
fttuate, with the tights members and appurtenances to
the laid landed, or real estate belonging, and the luture
iflue and encreafe oi ’he female Haves, and his flock of
every kind, bearing date the firfl day of July in ihe
year ol our lord one thouland seven hundred and lix
ty three, (a copy whereof as nearly as the petitioner
could recollect was annexed to the (aid petition, is now
lodged in the clerk’s office together with an affidavit
purluant to the laws of force in this state in fitch ca
ses) that the said deed of gift was loft, or deltroyed by
time, accident, or during the revolutionary war; and
praying the benefit intended by the laws of force in
this date, for theputpofe of effabliihnig loft papers,and
other creumilantial proof being laid before the court.
It is ordered that the laid deed of gift be eilablilhed
as direeted by law, on the said Barrack Gibbon's pub
lishing a weekly notice in one ol our public Gazette*
of this {late, for the space of fix Callandar months;
unless good and fufficient cause snail be (hewn to the
contrary within the laid fix months, or other matter
shall appear to the court agamll the fame.

the city of .Savannah, m the state of Geor
gia, planter, stating a Deed of Conveyance from
John Graham, late of the province of Georgia,
to John Caldwell, late of South-Carolina, pre
tiveive hundred acres ol land, situate in the lor
sent county of Liberty, in the state of Georgia,
known by the name of Bailhc’s neck; bounded
south and southwest on .North-Newport river
and land ol Robert Nobles, east and northeast
on land ot George Nobles and vacant land, and
north and northwest on vacant land, bearing date
the day ot , one thousand seven hun
dred and sixty-four; a copy whereof,asnearlyas
the petitioner could recollect, was annexed to
said petition, is now lodged m the clerk’s office,
together with an affidavit, pursuant to the acts
of iliis state, of force in such caves, has been
lost or destroyed ; and praying the benefit in
tended by tlie aforesaid acts, anti other circum
stantial prnoi being laid before the court: it is
ordered, that the said Deed of Conveyance,
from the said John Graham to John Caldwell,
for the land aforesaid, be established as direct
ed by law, on the said Thomas Young publish

whereof as nearly as the petitioner could re
collect, was annexed to said petition, and is now
lodged in the clerk’s office, together with affi
davits pursuant to the act of Assembly, has
been lost or destroyed—and praying the bene
fit intended by said acts, and other circumstan
tial proof being laid before Court—
It is ordered, That the said deed, or title of
sale from Matthew Shearer, Et Rebecca Shear
