Notice is hereby given, that in con
formity with the provisions of the act
supplementary to the act, intituled
“ Ah act making provision lor the re
demption oi’the whole of the public
debt ol the United States,” books will

sioner of loans for Georgia, on the first
day of July next, to continue ojkti un
til the seventeenth day of March, 1808,
inclusively, the fourteen last days of
each quarter excepted, for the purpose
of rcccyving subsc rijitions . lor such
jrarts of the Qid six per cent, deferred
xx per cent, and three per cent, stocks,
as may, oh the day of subscription,
stand on the books of the said com
missioner of loans.

anew six per cent, stock, equal to the
unredeemed amount of the stock sur
rendered, redeemable at the pleasure
of the United States, under a proviso,
