A broad hint to all who are indebted to An
drew Knox, or the late firm ot Wilson
and Knox vvhoe notes, as well as open ac
counts, ought to have been paid long ere this.
Never yet having sued a man, but one, (and
that debt supposed to be lost or m bad hands;)
nor wishing to enter into that unprofitable trade;
solicit both merchants and planters, with a tew
professional characters, to come lot ward aid
discharge their just debts, as tne present year
affords them generally an opportunity, the like
they may never see again. Providence has
certainly been bountiful in bestowing on us
plentiful crops of both wheat and corn, and
cotton and rice in abundance ; any of which
will be thankfully received in payment, having
large and convenient stoi c rooms to put it in ;
and they will try to be useful in turn in sell
ing any produce on commission, being well
fixed in a central situation for that business.
