County Tax Notice.
The inhabitants of Cherokee-Hill,
Little Ogcchee, White-Bluff, the Sea
Islands, and the citizens ol Savannah,
are now informed, that the Tax-Col
lector has received the DIGEST, for
the COUNTY of CHATHAM, and
will be ready on Monday, the 7th inst.
at 10 o’clock, to icccivc the taxes for
the last year, 1807; and those that do
not come forward and pay their tax,
by Thursday the 31st day of March,
will find exec utions put into the hands
of the Sheriff, as the law directs,
against all in default on that day, and
also, against ali those in arrears, for
the year 1806. No cash will be re
ceived in payment for taxes, but in
specie, bank bills ofthe United States,
or of the different branches thereof.
