The Roller Gins, formerly the property of
Mr. Alexander Jaffry, are now in perfect order
for the reception of Cotton in the seed.
Also, a complete SAW GIN, for GREEN
SEED COTTON.
Cotton will be GINNED and PACKED on
reasonable terms, at the Gins in Yumacraw ;
where no storage will be charged, and strenu
ous attention observed towards any Cotton in
trusted to the care of the subscriber.

The inhabitants of Cherokee-Hill,
: Little Ogcchcc, White-Bluff, the Sea
! Islands, and the citizens of Savannah,
are now informed, that the Tax-Col
lector has received the DIGKST, for
the COUNTY of CHATHAM, and
will be ready on Monday, the 7th ind.
at 10 o’clock, to receive the taxes for
the last year, 1807; and those that do
not come forward and pay their tax,
by Thursday the 31st day of March,
will find ex eon ions pin into the hands
of the Sheriff, as the law directs,
r.gainst all in default on that day, and
also, against all those in arrears for
the year 1800. No cash will be re
ceived in payment for taxes, but ill
specie, bank bills of the United States,
or of the. different branches thereof.
