Georgia Stone Lime. |
The subscriber having made an establish- i
nenton Briar creek, Scriven county, for the
urpose of burning Stone Lime, now offers to
'.apply this article, of equal quality, and at less
•n ice, than it is usually imported from the
lortherri states, and solicits the citizens of |
Georgia to encourage his pursuit by affording ;
• preference to the productions of their own
-itate.
The imported lime fluctuates in price in pro
portion to demand, from two dollars aud a half ]
•;q three dollars and a half per barrel, and
plds, on an average, eight bushels when slack-
. The medium price will be three dollars
>er barrel, or thirty-seven and a half cents per i
ushel. The subscriber will furnish it screen-
d for use at Savannah, at twenty-five cents
er oushel, or at the kiln, to which it isnavi-
: able for large fiats, at 18 3-4 cents.

Five Dollars Reward.
I A reward of Five Dollars will be paid by th®
[ subscriber, for apprehending and lodging in
the gaol of Chatham county, my NEGRO
FELLOW JIM ; aged 25 years ; about five
feet nine inches high and stout made. He ap
pears to be conversant in the French and Span -
ish tongues, and being artfiil, might probably
attempt to pass as free. Masters of vessels are
particularly cautioned against harboring or
carrying him off, under the penalty of the law.

Forty Dollars Reward.
Ranaway from the subscriber, about three
months since, a NEGRO FELLOW named
Solomon, yellow complexion, about 25 years
of age; had on when he went away, a brown
cloth coat, with white metal buttons, arid nan
keen pantaloons. He is supposed to be harbor
ed near this city.?
Also—Absent from the subscriber, his
WENCH. Diana, formerly the property of
general MTntosh. She has been absent for
ten months; about 30 years o! age, African
born, and has her country marks on each cheek.
The above reward will be paid for delivering-
them to the subscriber, or lodging them in Sa
vannah gaol, or Twenty Dollars for either.
