By the Mavor of the city ot Savannah.
Whereas, ; t is represented to the mayor and

Absconded,
From this city, a NEGRO WENCH, named
Betty, she is a small good looking wench,
about 30 years ct age, is African born, but had
resided sometime in New -Providence before she
came'to this state; she speaks her country lan
guage well, and is said to speak French; is well
known on St. Simon’s Island and on Turtle Riv
er. She was seen about 6 weeks ago between
this city and Ogechee in company with a ne
gro fellow, was well dressed and had a band-
box with her, and said she had a pass from the
subscriber to go to .Sapello. A reward of ten
dollars will be paid for lodging her in any gaol
so that the subscriber can get her, and all par
sons are cautioned from harboring or carrying

of the field, staff, commissioned aud non-com
missioned officers of the first regiment, Sivaa
nah.
On Tuesday, the 6th, the-review cf inspec
tion of the said regiment.
On Thursday, the 8th, the review of inspec
tion ot fit/h battalion, Bryan county
On Friday, the 9th, the review of inspection
of the fourth battalion. Liberty county
On Saturday, the 10th April, the review of
inspection of the sixth battalion, MTntosh coun
ty .
On Monday, the 19th April, the review of
inspection of the seventh battalion, Glynn
county.
©n Wednesday, the 21st the review of the
eighth battalion, Camden county,
And,on Friday, the 23d oi April,-the review
of inspection of the seventy- fourth. , be Italian,
Wayne county.
Officers commanding regiments and batta
lion* are, therefore, hereby commanded to have
the same under arms, on their respective pa
rade grounds, on the clays mentioned, by eleven
o’clock a. si. armed and accoutred agreeable
to law.
The field, staff, company, commissioned and
non-commissioned officers of the first regiment
will convene on the d:,y anti hour directed,
armed, accoutred and provided as the law di
rects, to be instructed in the discipline- pre

For sale.
On a credit ofionr years, thofe valuable adjoin!
plantations, CRAWFORD and BOWDEN, fit oat
between the Great and Little Ogechee rivers, and from
ten to twelve miles from Savannah. The two trafts
contain about feven hundred acres, of excellent fwamp,
and near eleven hundred acres of highland, a pvt of
which is adopted to the culture of cotton and provifions;
a coniiderabie portion of the fwamp is iafe tide land,
which from local advantages, is fiifcep .able of great im
movements. There is a fetclement on each plantation,
but the buildings, except a two ftory dwelling hoefe,
are much out of repair. The above plantations will be
fold at a vary reafonable price, or exchanged for pro.
