Scott, of the Local Militia. *o you, under date
the 13;h Instant, wherein he is pleased to state,
“I should have wished very much to hive
'made a stand at Crooked River Bridge, bu t
Captain Massias would not co operate with
flle.” I feel compelled, in Justice to myself, to
say to' Ou, jt is the first I have ever heard of
Colonel Scott’s Intentions on that subject.”

Rutherfor'. The men from the four fir t
named courti"?, are to rendszvous at Wades-
boroogh, -n Friday the 24th of February, and
those from the six last named counties are to
rend-x'-rus at the same place rn Wednesday
the 3 l of M <rch. They will be commanded
