Cornwall A Zerega, in their week ly circular, thus review the market for the week. For the first three days of the week our market under the continued heavy receipts, was.dull and heavy, with a tendency toward a material decline in prices, but the arrival on Wednesday morning of the Liverpool steamer, with advices of the advance in that market, gave up an active market, at an ad vance of 2c per lb. This advance, although not equal to the advance In Liverpool, vvas Improved by many holders to reduce their stock, the prevailing feeling that there is nothing In ill# present condition of the cotton supply aud receipts to have caused any such advauce in Liverpool as the advices give us. Those who have been th« most sanguine believers in future high prices now put the time off a little longer, as the receiptsdo not come down to the small figures promised, and no material advance can be secured aud maintained without a decided decline in receipts. People will kiss, yet not one ill a hundred knows bow to extract bliss from lovely lips, no more than tbey know bow to make dia monds from charcoal. And vet it it easy, at •east for ut! This little item is uot aliau for young beginners, but for the many who go to it like hunting coons or abetting com First know whom you arc to kiss Don't make a mistake, although a mistake may la good. Don’t jump up like a trout lor a fly, and smack a woman on the neck, on the ear, on the corner of tbe forehead, on the end of her nose, or stop over on ber waterfall, or bonnet ribbon, in haste to get through. “Tbe gentleman should be a little the tall est- He sbould have a clean face, a kind eye, a mouth full of expression instead of to bacco. Don't kt9s eveiybody, including nasty little dogs, male or iemale. Don t sit down to it, stand up. Need not be anxious to get in a crowd. Two persons are pltn’y to corner and catch a kiss. More persons spoil the sport. Stand firm. It won't hurt any after you are used to it. Take the lell hand of the lady in your right hand. Lei vour hat go to—any place out of the Way ! Throw the left hand gently over the shoul der of the lady, and let the hand fall down upon the right side towards the belt. Don’t he in a hurrry. Draw her gently, lovingly to vour heart. Her head will fall lightly upon yours boulder, and a handsome shoulder Wrap it makes ! Don’t be in a hurrry ; send a little life down your left arm aud let it know its business. Her left hand is in your right. Let there be ex pression to that—not like the grip of a vice, hut a gentle clap, full of electricity, thought, and respect. Don’t be iu a hurry. Her head lies carelessly on your ‘shoulder! You are nearly heart to heart ! Look down into her half closed eyes ! Gently yet manfully, press her to your bosom. Stand firm, and Providence will give you strength for the or deal. Be brave, but don’t be in a hurry. Her lips almost open ! Lean lightly forward with your liei|d, not the body. Take good aim; the lips meet; the eyes close; the heart opens; the soul rides tbe storm, troubles and sorrows of iiie (don’t be in a burry); heaven opens before you ; tiie world shoots from under your feet as a meteor flashes across the evening sky (don't be afraid;) the nerves dance before the just erected altar of love as Zephyrs dance with the dew-trimmed flowers ; the heart forgets its bitterness, and the art of kissing is learn ed ! No noise, no fuss, no fluttering and squirming like hook-impaled worm. Kissing don t hurt; it does uot require a brass band to make it legal. Don’t job dowu on a beau tilul mouth as if spearing for frogs ! Don't grab and yank the lady as if she was a strug gling colt! Don't muss her hair, scratch down her collar, bite her cheek, squizzie her rich ribbons and leave her mussed, rumpled and mumuxed! Don’t flavor your kisses with onions, tobacco, gin cock-tails, lager beer, brandy, etc., for a maudlin kiss is worse than the itch to a delicate, loving, sensible woman. There, now, is our recipe, free, gratis, for nothing. Try it. Extensive Immigration Scheme.— Hon. G. P. Marsh, our Minister at Turin, has forwarded to Washington the proposition of a Company of Italian silk aud grape growers, and wine manufacturers, to immigrate to this country iu such force as would suffice for the cultivation of a million of grape vines, and ten thousand mulberry trees.— Exchange. Sleighing in Boston. —The additional fall ot snow on Saturday night improved the sleighing iu the vicinity of Boston, and it is now very fair for light sleighs. CONSTITUTION LIFE SYRUP, COMPOSED OF IODIDE OF POTASSIUM, WITH THE COMPOUND CONCEN TRATED FLUID EXTRACT OF VALUrYBLE MEDICINAL ROOTS AND HERBS. Prepared by WM. H. GREGC. M. D., Graduate of the College of Physicians and Surgeons, New York; formerly Assistant Physician in the Blackwell's island Hospitals. CONSTITUTION LIFE SYRUP Has produced a revolution in Medicine. What may seem almost incredible is, that many dis eases hitherto considered hopelessly incurable aro fie quently cured in a few dav* or weeks; and we cheer Jolly invite the investigations of the liberal minded aud scientific to curse which have no parallel at the pre sent day. During the past five years we have contended with obstacles aud overcome opposition as herculean as were ever encountered by any reformers. RAPIDITY OF CURE. Some say, “Your cures are too quick,” while others doubt their permanence, and think that can only be cured by the “alow, recuperative process of Nature.” This is our reply: In health, the body, like a well balauced scale, is in a state of equilibrium. But when, Irom any cause, down goes one side of the scale, we havo the effects of disease. What is requisite, la tore store tlie normal balance of the scale. CONSTITUTION LIFE SYRUP Is a positive and specific remedy for all diseases origi listing from an impure state of the Blood, aud for alj (hereditary) diseases transmitted from parent to child PARALYSIS. It Is so universally admitted that Constitution Llfo Syrup is the only effective means of restoration in the various forms of Paralysis, that we need not reiterate that it Is emphatically the Great-Lifogivtug Bower.
