claim the State in the Union, to urge its early
admission upon Congress. He solutions guar
anteeing the ratification of the anti-slavery
amendment to the Constitution were passed.

CONSTITUTION
LIFE SYRUP,
COMPOSED OF IODIDE OF POTASSIUM,
WITH THE COMPOUND CONCEN
TRATED FLUID EXTRACT OF
VALUABLE MEDICINAL
ROOTS AND HERBS.
Prepared by
WM. H. GREGG. M. D.,
Graduate nr the College of Physicians and,Surgeons,
.Veto l’irrk ; formerly Assistant Physician
in the Blackwell's Island Hospitals.
CONSTITUTION LIFE SYRUP
Haa produced a revolution m Medicine.
What may seem almost incredible in, that mimy dis
eases hitherto considered hopelessly incurable are fie
qnently cured in u few days or weeks; mid we cheer
lnlly invite the investigatiuDs of the liberal minded and
scientific to cures which have no parallel at the pres-
sent day.
Daring the past five years we have contended with
obstacles and overcome opposition as herculean as
were ever encountered by any reformers.
RAPIDITY OF CURE.
Some say, “Your cures are too quick," while others
donbt their permanence, and think Umt diseases can
only be cured by the “slow, recupcrativo process of
Nature.’’
This is our reply: In health, the body, like n well-
balanced scale, is in a state of equilibrium. But when,
from any cause, down goes one side of the scale, we
have the effects of disease. What is requisite, la to re
store the normal balance of the scale.
CONSTITUTION LIFE SYRUP
Is a positive and specific remedy for all iliseiiues urigi
nating lrom au impure siute of the Blood, and for ai
(hereditaryj diseases transmitted from parent to child
PARALYSIS.
It is so universally admitted that Constitution Life
Syrup is the only effective means of restoration in the
various forms of Paralysis, that we need Hot reiterate
that It is emphatically the Great-Life-giving Power.
DYSPEPSIA.
Indigestion, Weight at Stomach, Flatulenre, Live
Complaint, want of Appetite, Bad Breath,
Constipation, Billlousness.
SCROFULA.
Stroma, King's Evil. Glandular Swellings, Erysipelas,
Ulceration, Salt Klienni.
This taint (hereditary and acquired), filling life with
untold misery, is, by ull usual medical remedies, in
curable.
RHEUMATISM.
tArthritis], Lumbago, Neuralgia, Sciatica, Gout, Tic
Dolorenox.
If there is any diseaee In which the Constitution
Lile Syrup is a.sovereign. It Is in Rheumatism and Its
kindred allectious. The most intense pains are almost
InatanUy alleyiated—enormous ewelliugfc nre reduced.
Cases, chronic or vicarious, of twenty or forty years’
standing, have been cqred by us.
CONSTITUTION LIFE SYRUP
Purges the system entirely from all the evil effects o
Mercury, removing the Had Breath, and curing the
Weak Joints and Rheumatic Pains which the use of
Calomel is sure to priaiuce. It hardens Spongy Hums,
and secures the Teeth as firmly asever.
CONSTITUTION LIFE SYRUP.
Eradicates, root and branch, all Eruptive Diseases of
the Skiu, likeUlceiH, Pimples, Blotches, and all other
difficulties of .his kind, which so much disfigure tlio
outward appearance of both males aud females, often
making them a disgusting object to themselves and
their irieuds.
FOR ALL FORMS OF ULCERATIVE
DISEASES,
F.ither of the Nose, Throat, Tongue, Spine, Forehead,
or Scalp, no remedy has ever proved its equal.
Moth Patches upon the female face, depending njion
a diseased action of the Liver, are very unpleasant to
the young wife and mother. A few bottles of Consti
tution Lite Syrup will correct the secretion and remove
the deposit, which is directly under tlie sldn.
Diseases of the Liver, giving rise to Languor, Dizzi
ness, Indigestion, Weak Stomach, or an ulcerated or
cancerous condition of that organ, accompanied with
burning nr other unpleasant symptoms, will lie re
lieved by the use of
CONSTITUTION LIFE SYRUP.
As a General Blood-Pnrifying Agent, the Life Syrup
stands unrivalled by any preparation in the world.
THE RICH AND POOR
Are liable to the same diseases. Nature and science
have made the Constitution Life Syrnp for t lie benefit
of all.
PURE BLOOD
Produces healthy men and women ; and if the consM-
tntlon is neglected In youth, disease und early death is
the resnlt. Do not delay when the ineuns are so near
at baud, and within the reach of all.
CONSTITUTION LIFE SYRUP
Is the poor man’s Mend, and the rich man’s blessing.
