Augusta Commercial Bulletin, corrected semi-week1\ for the Savannah Herald, by Maude Wright, Cotton Factoi’s and General Commission Merchants. Augusta, Ga., Saturday Evening, March 17, lbGO. River 6 l 2 feet and falling; weather clear and cool. Steamers in port—“ Swan.” Shipments of cotton by railroad and river, for weak ending March 17, 5,811 bales; receipts from all points, 3,975 bales. Freights continue same; $1 ^ bale by steamers and $2 50 by rail. There is a very perceptible failing oil in receipts of cotton at this point. The country is being fairly drained, and indications point to the i oil elusion that at length the heavy stocks which were hidden in the county have been brought out, leaving no room for calculation in regard to the future supply except upon the basis of the coming crop.
