Magain, of Paris, the recipe and right for tuaUiug Hub astonishing medicine. Until the npptMirnncu of the “Luclna Cordial," (about three years since) it was thought that the complaints which it speedily overcomes, were beyond the reach of Imtutti remedy, n.« for upwards of it thousand years, they had bdfficd the wisdom and ingenuity of tho most profound phy sicians in all parts ol' tho world. This Cordiul, however, to tiie great advantage of thn Inimnn rnco, soon proved itself tn he tho desideratum so long rought for? and accordingly, notwithstanding tiie brief period of its existence, it has acquired a celebrity so great, that it is eruzcrly sought for throughout tlio civilized globe. In nil the various cases of languor, lassitude nnd debilitation, it is an unfailing reme dy, as it is equally its province to impart cheer fulness nnd decision to tlio mind, as health and vi gor to the body. But the peculiar virtue on which it* celebrity is iMtsed, Is the facility and certainty with which it restores the virile powers when they hove been destroyed by disease, time, reckless ness, or imy of the numerous causes which termi nate iu the prostration of those functions. In common with the generality of really good medicines, this Cordiul coutuins nothing of a mer curial or deleterious nature, utnong tho niuny in gredient* which compose it; but i*, m tlio samq time, so simple, yet so efficacious, that while it can renovate the prostrated energies of a giant, an in- Tint may use it, not only with impunity, but with advantage. But this we cannot forbear remarking—that it has been de monstrated that there is scarcely ever, if any such tiling at all, ns natural barrenness, or a* natural imbecility of tiie procreaut function* in either sex; and, tlierefore, thut those evils are tiie effects of artificial causes, anft may ho speedily subdued and removed by tlio use of “Le Cordial do Luciue," The Luciuu Cordial is also'nn indubitable euro for the Gleet, and tiie Fluor Alima, obstructed, difficult or painful Menstruation; ulso, for the incontinence of Urine or tho involimtury dis charge thereof.
