HE subscriber has tho pleasure of announc ing to tho citizens of tho United States, that he has purchased, for a very largo sum and from the inventor, tho celobrated Dr. Mngnin,of Paris, the recipo and right for making this astonishing medicine. Until the nppenrance of the “Lucina remedy,...... upwards of a thousand years, thoy had buflled the wisdom and ingenuity of the most profound phy sicians in all parte of tho world. This Cordial, however, to tlio great advantage of tho human race, soon proved itself to he tho desideratum so long sought for; and accordingly, notwithstanding the brief period of its existence, it has acquired a celebrity so great, that it is eagorlv sought for throughout the civilized globe. Dr. Mngnin soou finding that the demand was so vast as to render tries, only preserving France and Italy for himself. Thus has the subscriber posscsod himself of tlio invaluable secret, and now hastens to give tlio in habitant* of his line of agency the benefit* of hi* speculation. "Lo Cordial de Lucine," or, in English, “tho Lucina Cordial,” is a general invigorntorof the hu man frame. In all the various cases of languor, lassitude and debilitation, it is an unfailing reme dy, os it is equally its province to impart clicer- fuluess and decision to tho mind, as health and vi gor to the body. Bat tho peculiar virtue on wluch it* celebrity is based, is tho facility and certainty with which it restores the virile powers when they have been destroyed by disease, time, reckless ness, or any of the numerous causes which termi nate iu the prostration of those functions. In common with tho generality of really good medicines, this Cordial contains nothing of u mer curial or deleterious nature, among the many in gredients which compose it; hut is, at tho name time, so simple, yet so efficacious, that while it can renovate the prostrated energies ofa giant, an in fant may use it, not only with impunity, but with advantage. Tho urages of society are unftntnnntoly such that, notwithstanding tho benefit* which would ho sure to result from it, we cannot enter into oiian- nlynisof this inestimable Cordial hero, or publish many of the document* which have been receiv ed, as vouchers of the blearing* it ha* conferred on number* of despairing individual*. But this we cannot forbear remarking—-that it has been de monstrated that there is scarcely ever, if tiny such thing at all, a* natural barrenness, or a* natural imbecility ofthe procreant functions ill either sex; nnd, therefore, that those evil* are the effect* of artificial cauncs.nnd maybe speedily subdued and removed by tlie use of “Le Cordiul de Lucine.” The Lucina Cordial is also an indubitable cure for the Gleet, and tlie Fluor Albus, obstructed, difficult or painful Menstruation; also, for the incontinence of Urine or tho involuntary dis- chhrge thereof. EDITOR—Much a* tlio powers of this favorite remedy have been extolled, I cau- not omit this opportunity ofdcclnring my decided conviction dint every account ofdio sanative vir tues of tho Alixturo will ho verified to the full ex tent. Whatever be the chnractorofdic complaint —whether unequal tertian—double or simple quartan—however varied be its typo, attended with syncope, apoplexy, vehement spasms, with coldness and stupor—whatever it* dura!ion, whe ther vernal or autumnal, laying the foundation for visceral affections, mid oilier slow hut unerringly filial maladies—however irregular in thoir inva sion, nnd uncommon In their appearaucos—iu hue, whatever be tho ogo, idiosyncrasy, or habits of die patient, die complaint alike bids ndicu on Uio due administration ofdio Tonic Mixture.— I Ins is no high-wrdught panegyric for tlio exper iment. I speak only from what I positively know —however successful otiicr preparations uiny hove been, tiicre con bo little reliance placed upon thorn when compared with tins article. By strict- y following tho directions thnt accompany tho liolde, we find it nets upon tlio most scientific principle—for, it seems to anticipate tho return of die cold fit, and excites a strong reaction, and poworful glow over die whole system; nnd thus to pro-occupy the ground, mid by disturbing th» regularity ol the type, to subdue the intermittent altogether. Under such a course of medicine, I have boon nstonishod to notice witii whet hasto the discaso bents nlurm for a retreat, nnd die pros trated strength of the system rallies. It is a pow erful, vet mild medicine—substituting calmness tranquillity, nnd balmy sieop,in ploco pf nnin,we»i riness, and restless nights—a renovation of long, lost strength end robust health, in lieu of feeble- new and emaciation. And I confidently believe, and I preuicoto my opinion upon tho most sub stantial proof, dint under whatever sky—in what ever comer of the earth—whodier upon hill or volley, wherever fever and nguo makes its appear- nnco. there also will "Rownnd’s Tonic Mixture” find its way—tlio happy desideratum, dio porfect nntidoio.
