change of Now Orleans, in presonce of Lucien
Hermann, Esq. Notary Public, and will be con
tinued Amn day to day, until all the numbers from
No. 1 to 100,000, arc deposited therein; immedi
ately after which the drawing of tho Lottery will
take place. During this period, which will take
about four months, and as long as there may bo
tickets on hnnd, they will remain for sale.
Falso and calumnious statements against this
Lottery, calculated to create a want of confidence
with persons residing at a distance from this city,
having linen published in one or two Newspapers
iu the United Stales, and from them copied into
others, mid which originated oitlier from igno
rance or malico< the subscriber, in order to satisfy
the most sceptical as to the good faith wiUi which
this undertaking is conducted, has cutered into
the following arrangement with three of tho first
Banking Institutions in this city, the Union Bank
of Louisiana, tlio Citizen’s Bank of Louisiana,
and the New Orleans Canal & Banking Compa
ny. These Banks will receivo special deposits
for any quantity of tickets in amount of not less
than one hundred dollars and give iu return a cer
tificate of the following tonor:

Grand Real Estate Lottery of Property situated
