W E would call attentiou to the advertisement
in our columns to-day of PETERS’ VEG
ETABLE PILLS. Wo understand by the best
medical authority, that there is no preparation of
the day which eniovs so enviable a reputation.
At the South and North, their success has been
unbounded, and wherever introduced we believe
they hnvo given the most perfect satisfaction.
We have this day had an interview with one of
our citizens, Henry K. Fox, whs was recently
cured of a most remarkable and obstinate cuta
neous eruption, where the body was covered with
fulsome ulcers, and even the tonsils of the throat
eaten away—and by using these Pills daily for six
weeks, was entirely restored to health.—New
York Examiner.
PETERS’ VEGETABLE PILLS.
They do indeed restore the health of tho body,
because they purify ond inviuorate the blood, pud
their good effects are not counterbalanced by any
inconvenience; being composed enfireiv of veg
etables, they do not expose those who use them
to danger, nnd their effects nre as certain as they
uro salutary; they nre daily and safely adminis
tered to infancy, youth, manhood and old nge, and
to women in tho most criliculnnd delicate circum
stances, thev do not disturb or shock the animal
functions, hut restores their order nnd re-estab
lishes their health; nnd for nil the purposeswhich
a vegetable purgative, or certain cleanser of the
whole system are required, they staud without a

Wf E perceive by the papers that the famous
W French physician, Dr. Mugnin, lias estab
lished an agency for the sale of the above named
extraordinary medicine in this city; and to speak
the truth, we are sorry for it, as we think that
there nre too urany people in this part of the
world olready. Wb dale not enter into an expla
nation ofthe wonders effected by this medicine
here, hut will nevertheless venture to add, that it
is the royalist thing in tho world for gentlemen and
ladies who ore husbands nnd wives, nnd who wish
i to Ire fathers nnd mothers. The agent should take
this medicine to the far west, where people ore
scarce.—Afcw York Examiner. %

A Certain Cure for Sick Ileud-
Ache.
W HICH has been used io families, every
member of which hns had sick headache
from infancy,as a constitutional family complaint;
ond has cured effectually in every instance yet »
known, amounting to many hundreds. It is not. *>.
unpleasant to the taste, nnd does unt prerent the. * , i
daily avocations of one using it; it must be perse*
vered in. aud tire cure is gradual, but certain And
permanent. Instances nre constantly multiply
ing where this distressing complaint incomplete
ly relieved and cured, although of years standing,
by the use of Dr. Spohn’s celebrated remedy.
One decided preference is its pleasantness, hav
ing none of the nauseating effects of comment
drugs. .m
In all dyspeptic symtoms, costiyeness, irregu
larity, distress after meals, pains in the 8id*j and
torpidity ofthe liver, the cure is perfect, and any
one so afflicted will become immediately convin
ced on using it, that ho bus at Inst found a •‘sover
eign balm for his wounds.” FemaWare particu
larly recommended to use it for costivCness or ir
regularity, and other female comphu’nts. It is
proved to correct vitiated and disordered humors
keeping tlie stomach-in most perfect-order. Those
persons who after an evenings iiidnlgence at pat-
tics, Arc. have headache and dullness tho next
day, will find this a sure preventive if taken at
bedtime. For alt common complaints, in a'fav*
days its virtues will be self-evident, and a complete
cure will soon be effected. When a person jre*
a cold and feels unwell, generally a free use dfit
for a few days will lie sure to relieve without;
physic or pills. To children it may he given with
the greatest odvaniugo.
In ail acidity or sourness of stomach thin remedy .
is Rovoteigo aud ittvuUu'ble; us a general family
medicine it is now adopted hy many of the most _
rcspectnble fimiiles. It never sickens the stomach *
or produces any of the unpleasant effects ofphysio.
